The potential for strong to severe storms arrives toward the late afternoon as the powerful dynamics of the upper level low approach North Texas.
Friday’s weather will be windy and cloudy, and we’re in for a cold and wet weekend.
A cold front will blow into DFW late tonight.
As North Texas braces for another round of treacherous weather, parents are hoping it won’t be as bad as expected.
Rain moved in to North Texas overnight, and the Winter Storm Watch that was in place has been replaced with a Winter Weather Advisory.
Look for mostly sunny skies on Monday, with high temperatures just a little warmer than over the holiday weekend.
There are still some left over showers east of I-35 this evening. But skies are clearing to the west. The cold front is approaching Houston where temperatures are in the upper 70s. We, however, have temperatures in the low 40s and upper 30s.
