High Water Rescue
Many people found themselves in dangerous situations across northern Denton County early Thursday morning as flooding rainfall moved across the area.
Heavy rain and floods took dozens of North Texas drivers by surprise — leading to more than 40 high-water rescues in Fort Worth. In the course of a few hours, firefighters responded to more than 200 calls for help.
On Wednesday, two North Texas women finally got the chance to thank a Rockwall County Sheriff’s Deputy for saving their lives, in the rescue that was all caught on videotape.
The heavy rain that swept across North Texas overnight caught a few drivers off-guard in their morning commute.
