Janet Evans qualified for the Olympic trials in the 800-meter freestyle Sunday, her second qualifying time in two days in her comeback bid.

The former gold medal winner and world record holder is trying to qualify for the London Olympics. She is scheduled to race the 400 and 800-meter freestyle Friday and Sunday at the Austin Grand Prix.
