It’s decision day for voters in Dallas and Fort Worth as they go to the polls to choose new mayors in a runoff election.
By the end of the weekend, Dallas and Fort Worth will both have new leaders. Voters will head to the polls on Saturday for runoff elections.
As the candidates for Fort Worth Mayor head into the final week of campaigning, there seem to be few disagreements over issues. Both Betsy Price and Jim Lane shared a podium during a Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. luncheon Thursday.
Dan Barrett, Cathy Hirt and Nicholas Zebrun are out of the running for Fort Worth mayor. But the race is not over as the two top vote earners head toward a June 18 runoff election.
None of the five candidates for mayor managed to pull 50 percent of the vote, sending former tax assessor Betsy Price and former councilman Jim Lane to a runoff election.
