All of the equine stars from the most prestigious 3-year old races this past spring and summer will meet in the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday at Santa Anita Park in California, where California Chrome is running for redemption.
From a betting perspective California Chrome is the obvious choice in trying to build a winning ticket. He will offer no value in the win pool at odds of 3-5 or lower.
The Kentucky Derby is among the world’s toughest races to win but California Chrome made it look easy. After his convincing win at Churchill, California Chrome will be a worthy and overwhelming favorite in the Preakness Stakes.
