Toyota Fined For Failing To Quickly Report Safety Problems

The U.S. government has slapped Toyota Motor Corp. with a record $17.4 million fine for failing once again to quickly report problems to federal regulators and for delaying a safety recall.

Toyota Recalling 778,000 RAV4 SUVs

Toyota Motor Corp. said Wednesday it’s recalling 778,000 RAV4 SUVs and Lexus HS 250h sedans in the U.S. to fix a suspension problem that could cause crashes.
