Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II
Lockheed Martin officials, national and international dignitaries and military leaders from the U.S. and UK met in Fort Worth Thursday for the transfer of the first F-35B Joint Strike Fighter to one of its international partners on the project.
The majority of the employees on strike at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth work on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Mostly testing setbacks have caused the delays on the radar-evading fighter, but the strike isn’t helping.
Japan selected the Lockheed Martin F-35 stealth fighter on Tuesday to replace aging jets in its air force and bolster its defense capability amid regional uncertainty.
