Mavs Beat Bucks 106-93 Without Nowitzki, Carlisle

Wright led the Mavericks with 19 points, Jose Calderon got the offense going early and finished with 18, and Dallas shrugged off the absence of Nowitzki and coach Rick Carlisle to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 106-93 Saturday night.

‘In The Groove,’ Vince Leads Mavs Over Bucks

Thanks to Tuesday’s 115-108 win at Milwaukee, the Mavs have won three straight roadies, four straight games and five of six. A constant? Vince Carter, who beat the Bucks by hitting three key 3-pointers in the fourth quarter on his way to 23 points, the continuation of a Vinsanity ‘groove’ that is now 22 games long.

Former Maverick Pat Cummings Dead At 55

He was drafted by Milwaukee and was traded to Dallas in 1982. He signed with the New York Knicks as a free agent in 1984 and also played for Miami and Utah.
