US Judge Strikes Down Oklahoma Same-Sex Marriage Ban

U.S. District Judge Terrence Kern handed down the ruling Tuesday in a lawsuit filed by two same-sex couples. Kern’s ruling was immediately stayed pending appeal, meaning gay marriages won’t immediately happen in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Pipeline To Gulf Coast To Crank Up Jan. 22

TransCanada Corp. began injecting crude oil into the 485-mile, 36-inch pipeline in early December. Spokesman Davis Sheremata says the process involves injecting about three million barrels of oil into the system at Cushing and moving it to the Houston area.
