Gov’t Shut Down Leaves Those In Federal Benefit Fight Waiting

Nearly 24 hours into the government shut down some North Texans told CBS 11 it’s not anger they feel, it’s hurt. Now those who have been fighting for more benefits, in some cases for years, are stuck waiting again.

Post Office: Expect Big Cuts Starting In Mid-May

With no financial relief in sight, the U.S. Postal Service is pushing ahead with planned cuts to more than 260 mail processing centers around the nation, including in North Texas.
