I decided to use this week’s blog to advise you, our viewers, about some one-time only midday program changes on CBS 11 and TXA 21 this Friday, due to JFK coverage.
Beginning August 12, the 11:00 a.m. “Jeopardy!” will move from CBS 11 to TXA 21 at 6:00 p.m. while our TXA 21 airing of the show will move to 5:30 p.m. from its 6:00 p.m. slot.
Captain Kangaroo remains today as one of the longest running children’s programs in history, lasting from October 1955 until its cancellation in December 1984.
