A late start to the holiday season and an ice storm have put the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive in North Texas more than a $500K behind schedule.
A tradition will return on Thankgiving as the Cowboys team up with The Salvation Army once again for the start of the Red Kettle Campaign at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
A Wal-Mart shopper grabbed his cell phone and started recording when he noticed a Salvation Army bell ringer taking money from the red kettle.

The Salvation Army kicked off their Tarrant County red kettle drive with a Texas-style cattle drive. Cowboys mounted their horses with their cattle dogs alongside at in Fort Worth.
It’s become a symbol of the holiday season, today the Salvation Army kicked off its iconic red kettle campaign. North Texans will soon be able to make donation at more than 400 retail locations.
