‘One Safe Place’ Family Justice Center Officially Open

Victims of domestic violence in Tarrant County now have a new help resource. A family justice center, called One Safe Place, has opened and is offering a variety of services under one roof.

Texas rape victims offer support to women fighting for the testing of hundreds of thousands of untested rape kits. According to some estimates, between 180,000 and 400,000 rape kits remain untested nationwide, despite DNA technology that can swiftly link rapists to crimes.
