In an area that gets a mere 3 inches of snow a year, Dallas snowplow drivers live in fear of major winter storms like the one that crippled their city almost two years ago, the week before it was to host the Super Bowl.

Winter Weather Special: Snow Plows In North Texas

During Super Bowl week last year, snow plows were brought in from outside North Texas to the roads. This year, we won’t have to rely on other departments for snow plows: TxDOT bought 29 of them, nine of which are housed here.
