The SPCA of Texas is transporting about 70 cats and dogs from Oklahoma to the DFW area on Wednesday, after deadly tornadoes devastated the state on Monday.

Efforts Underway To Reunite Tornado Victims With Their Pets

Efforts are underway in parts of North Texas to find pets that were lost after this week’s deadly tornadoes. Volunteers and law enforcement officials are working to reunite owners with pets who’ve gone astray.

SPCA-Dallas DA’s Office Team Seize Cruelly Treated Dogs

Wednesday workers with the SPCA of Texas took custody of two cruelly treated dogs in Dallas. The seizure was the first for the new partnership between the SPCA and the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office’s Animal Cruelty Unit.

The SPCA of Texas took custody of nearly 50 animals on Thursday, after receiving an anonymous complaint of suspected animal cruelty. The SPCA and officials in Hunt County went to the property in Caddo Mills and found the animals.
