The SPCA of Texas is transporting about 70 cats and dogs from Oklahoma to the DFW area on Wednesday, after deadly tornadoes devastated the state on Monday.
Efforts are underway in parts of North Texas to find pets that were lost after this week’s deadly tornadoes. Volunteers and law enforcement officials are working to reunite owners with pets who’ve gone astray.
Wednesday workers with the SPCA of Texas took custody of two cruelly treated dogs in Dallas. The seizure was the first for the new partnership between the SPCA and the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office’s Animal Cruelty Unit.
