Board Makes Decision On Extending Water Restrictions

North Texas Municipal Water District officials learned Thursday that lakes Lavon and Chapman are dangerously close to being too low for pumping water. The board still voted to extend Stage 3, twice a month watering through October.

‘Stage 3′ Water Restrictions Set For June 1st Across North Texas

1.6 million people will have to brace themselves for June 1st when cities from McKinney to Mesquite to Royce City will go to Stage-3 water restrictions which means just once a week for sprinkler’ed lawns.
