New DISD Chief’s Contract Has Lots Of Incentives Based On Progress

Newly hired Dallas School District Superintendent Mike Miles signed a contract that will pay him $300,000 yearly for the next three years. And also inside that contract are incentive offers that provide up to $250,000 more in yearly payments.

DISD Board Voting On Miles Thursday

Dallas ISD Superintendent finalist Mike Miles will face a final board vote Thursday evening. With board approval, Miles will become the new Superintendent of Schools for the second largest school system in Texas. His salary, however, may top all other Texas school leaders’ compensation.
