Brennan Trainor Rodriguez. A former TCU student has been indicted on one count of felony murder in the death of T. Boone Pickens’ grandson in January. Brennan Rodriguez, a former classmate and friend of Pickens, was indicted on one count each of felony murder, manslaughter, tampering with physical evidence, and delivering a controlled substance which resulted in a death. If convicted of felony murder, Rodriguez faces up to life in prison. Rodriguez is accused of intentionally injecting Ty Pickens with heroin. The grand jury says that ultimately caused Pickens’ death. Arrest and booking photos are provided by local law enforcement officials. Arrest does not imply guilt and criminal charges are merely accusations. A defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted in a court of law.
