Blue Angels Cancel Fort Worth Show & Entire Season

As it turns out, the Blue Angels won’t be performing this October at the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show in Fort Worth. Federal budget cuts have prompted the Navy to cancel the remaining portion of the Blue Angels 2013 season.

The official anchor dedication ceremony for the USS Fort Worth was held today at Veterans Memorial Park. After an outpouring from leaders and residents, construction on the USS Fort Worth began in 2009, but the responsibilities don’t end with an anchor or dedication ceremony.
