Reward At $25,000 For Lake Highlands Rapes Information

A single donation has increased the reward for information on the recent rapes in Lake Highlands to $25,000. An anonymous donor has added $20,00 to the already $5,000 reward being offered by Crime Stoppers.

DA’s Office Recognizes Local Man With Hero Award

A hero is someone admired for their achievements and noble qualities. Tuesday the district attorney’s office in Dallas County defined hero by presenting a special award to the man who saved a woman’s life, by simply stopping and helping.

Carjacked & Run Over Mom In Critical Condition

The North Texas mother allegedly carjacked and run over with her own vehicle is in critical condition at a Fort Worth hospital. Police say a man trying to steal computer equipment from a North Texas private school committed the crime.

After 27 years, Fort Worth police have successfully closed a cold case murder. In January of 1984, Elsie Mae Deem was attacked in her Fort Worth home, but was only able to assist police in the search for a suspect for a short time.

Denton PD Searching For Man Who Attacked 90-Year-Old

Police in Denton are searching for the man who on Saturday assaulted an elderly woman, living at an assisted living center. Authorities are asking for the public’s help and believe the attacker may have been captured on video.
