Heroin Use Reaching Epidemic Levels Across North Texas

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is calling the increase in heroin-related deaths an “urgent public health crisis” and says first responders should carry with them drugs to reverse the effects of an overdose.

2 Nights Of West Nile Ground Spraying In Dallas County

Mosquitoes infected with the West Nile Virus have been found in an area of Dallas County. As a result, the City of Dallas is preparing to perform two nights of ground spraying in the area where the pool was found, in southwest Dallas.

Drug Recall Could Rival 1980s Tylenol Scare

Two other drugs may now also be linked to the deadly meningitis outbreak. It has prompted a voluntary drug recall that could rival the Tylenol recall from the early 1980s.
