The Dallas area offers some of the best bars but sometimes it can be difficult to find one that is appropriate to take your boss to or one that would be good for entertaining guests. You don’t want places that get too loud or too crazy, and if you need to have a meeting, you’ll want a place with some privacy. There are quite a few bars in the Dallas area that offer all of that as well as some great drinks.
The Ginger Man
2718 Boll St.
Dallas, TX 75204
At one point last year it was voted one of the best bars for studying. The Ginger Man, an upscale pub in Uptown Dallas, is also a great place to meet for business drinks. Because this is a more upscale pub, it is much less likely that you will see any large groups of rowdy college students here. If you would like even more privacy or need to entertain a larger group, you can reserve space for a business meeting at the pub. With its large selection of fine brews and new ones coming in every month, this is a great place to take business associates that love beer.
The Londoner Pub
2909 Thomas Ave.
Dallas, TX 75204
Because of the dark wood accents and the higher quality brews, pubs are some of the best places to go for business drinks. The Londoner in Uptown is no exception. With dark wood, a hand-crafted beer selection and even an inviting fireplace, this is a great bar to go with colleagues to make everyone feel comfortable without relaxing the standards too much. The food menu offers great British staples as well as American-style favorites. There are also areas available for private meetings.
The Fillmore Pub
1004 E. 15th St.
Plano, TX 75074
This small pub in downtown Plano offers all of the class of an upscale pub with its food, decor and drinks which makes it a great choice when choosing a bar for after-work drinks. While it can get much busier and louder on the weekends, the pub is much quieter during the week and is perfect for a drink with colleagues or other business associates after work. It also offer brunch on Sundays and boasts some of the most delicious brunch dishes in the area if you are entertaining business guests on the weekend.
