Best Bars For Foodies In DFW

Dallas is one of the best cities for foodies. There are so many great food options and varieties of food to choose from that it can seem like a foodie’s dream. Of course, there are also many bars in DFW with great cocktails, beers and wines to choose from. For people that love both, it is sometimes hard to be able to find a great place with great food but also great drinks. Fortunately, there are a few places in DFW that do just that: top-notch bars that offer food that would please any foodie.

Right above Urban Crust in the gorgeous downtown Plano sits a rooftop ice bar. The bar keeps drafts beers cold and pours them at a consistent 32 degrees, hence the name of the bar. Liquor taps pour some of the best liquors at a cool negative five degrees. The bar also includes a strip of ice running across the bar to keep your drinks cold. The bar includes an extensive cocktail menu but because it is part of Urban Crust, it also features some of the best pizzas and other classic Italian dishes with a twist.

Park Tavern offers the gastropub experience with a contemporary spin. The restaurant boasts great food and craft beer in the large and beautiful setting of an urban lodge. In the warmer weather, there is also a patio that is great for drinking cocktails with friends. Sambuca began in a small location in Deep Ellum and has grown into an exciting and sophisticated dinner club in Plano. Sambuca 360 offers upscale comfort food near the Shops at Legacy. Live music is featured every night and the bands bring lots of energy to the restaurant and your experience. The list of signature cocktails includes a long list of delicious offerings. However, the food menu is definitely something you will want to pay attention to here as well. The Libertine Bar has been awarded numerous awards and gained a lot of recognition from Dallas blogs and magazines. Much of this has to do with their eclectic atmosphere, great food and great drinks. This pub has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. It doesn’t feel like they are trying to be pretentious despite the fact that they are offering you what may be the best cheese board in Dallas. Mojitos and mimosas are great with their brunch or you can just enjoy your favorite beer with some sausage or cheese.
