Halloween is one of the best excuses for an amazing party, and the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and go a little wild for a night. Fortunately, the biggest issues you will have this year in DFW are choosing the best costume and choosing the best parties of the many options in the area. This list showcases some of the best.

The night will include a lineup of live performances, contests and attractions as well as a great DJ to provide you with music to dance to all night long. Some of the performances will include sexy burlesque revues, circus performers and other sideshow acts. The event will also include a fortune teller and a costume contest, so dress to impress. The Wake will take place at Purgatory Nightclub, which has enough room for 2,500 people and three themed floors. With so much entertainment and so many options, there is sure to be enough fun for every 21 and older partier.

Hours: Oct. 27 – 9 p.m.In Halloween tradition, Lakewood Theater will show a true science-fiction double feature. Amber Does Dallas will present not just one but two amazing cult classics for your enjoyment : “Repo! The Genetic Opera” and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” The show will be a shadowcast, which means live performers will act out on stage the scene of the movie that’s on screen. These shows involve a lot of audience participation and allow the audience to join in on the fun. Of course, because it’s Rocky, come dressed to shock and awe.
