These are just a few of the great parks on the Fort Worth side of the Metroplex. Each park offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun that kids of all ages can enjoy!

Bear Creek Park

Bear Creek Park includes hiking and bike trails, fishing pond, horseshoe pit, basketball and volleyball courts, playground, picnic tables, and soccer goals.

Green Valley Community Park

Green Valley Community Park is a beautifully designed park with a lake and wetland, and offers expansive open green space for enjoying outdoor activities including being home to the city’s soccer leagues and providing opportunities for tennis; softball; fishing; walking along the paved trail; rollerblading; enjoying a family or company picnic under the pavilion; fishing in the lake or listening to outdoor concerts held in the spring.

River Legacy Parks is a 1,300 acre oasis with more than eight miles of paved trails, picnic areas, a playground and the River Legacy Living Science Center which offers educational programs.

Trinity Park

Trinity Park is known for its beauty as well as its miniature train. The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is located on its grounds. The park has a great paved multi-use hiking/biking trail along the river’s edge, several different playgrounds and picnic pavilions.
