Say so long to summer as Dallas-Fort Worth area kids get ready to gear up and go back to school. Parents stress registering their kids for classes, making sure immunization records are current and, of course, back-to-school shopping. For the Dallas-Fort Worth area parent, there are a lot of choices when it comes to school supplies and the latest in back to school fashion and gear. These places offer  ways to save and get your child fashionably forward for back-to-school haircuts, supplies and fashion. To help you with your back to school shopping, the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has scheduled the annual Texas Sales Tax holiday — tax-free school supply days — Aug. 17 to Aug. 19 for clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks at prices of less than $100. Enjoy!
