TREBEK RAPS

Alex Trebek became a trending Twitter topic, after the Jeopardy co-host rapped his way though a part of the show.

The category, “It’s a Rap,” had the 73-year old quoting lyrics from hip hop songs.

“In ‘Nothing But A G Thang,’ this doctor rapped, never let me slip because if I slip then I’m slipping,” said Trebek during one of the clues.

Some called it awkward, others thought it was awesome.

SPORTSCASTER SLIPUP

Millions of people tuned in to watch Monday night’s college football championship between the Florida State Seminoles and the Auburn Tigers, and right off the top they witnessed a Ron Burgundy moment.

Brent Musburger began the broadcast saying, “Good evening and welcome everybody. I’m Kirk Herbstreit along with Brent Musburger…”

Brent just kept going, and didn’t seem to notice the botched beginning. Kirk cracked a smile.

Talking about Brent the day after college’s biggest football game is becoming a tradition.

Last year, he made headlines for talking about Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron’s girlfriend.

MICHAEL BAY MELTDOWN

It doesn’t go as scripted for big name movie director during his presentation at a huge tech show.

The Consumer Electronics Show is going on this week in Las Vegas,  and Samsung brought movie director Michael Bay on stage to talk about it’s latest TV.

But he didn’t stay on stage for long.

Bay stumbled over his words when asked a question about the TV.  He then apologized and walked off the stage.

Afterwards he wrote in his blog “Wow! I just embarrassed myself at CES.”

He went on to say, “I got so excited to talk, that I skipped over the exec. VP’s intro line and then the teleprompter got lost. Then the prompter went up and down – then I walked off. I guess live shows aren’t my thing.”
