“ROAR” LIP DUB
Katy Perry was behind one of the year’s biggest hits, and “Roar” also became an anthem for sick kids around the country.
At the Children’s Hospital of Richmond, they made Perry’s hit their own.
More than 50 children and staff participated in a “Roar” lip dub — including players from vcu’s men’s basketball team.
One of the kids is a huge Katy Perry fan and had just undergone surgery. Her mother said being a part of this project helped with her daughter’s recovery.
Last year, the hospital did a similar video using One Direction’s hit, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
AWKWARD FAMILY PHOTOS
It’s that time of year, but not everyone’s holiday photos turn out as planned.
