Today’s heat created about a half dozen medical emergencies for people waiting in line for a back to school fair.  Becky Mayad says it happened outside the Will Rogers Center in Fort Worth at the Tarrant County Back to School Roundup.
Three ambulances called to the scene treated 6 heat patients.  None were transported to the hospital.   A seventh person was taken to the hospital with a heart issue.  The event drew some 12-thousand students getting school supplies, immunizations and medical screenings.
