DALLAS (AP) – A North Texas man traced to a homeless shelter in Las Vegas has been sentenced to 30 years in prison on child pornography counts.

A federal judge in Dallas on Monday sentenced 39-year-old Buddy Anderson, who formerly lived in Ennis. Anderson in May pleaded guilty to producing child pornography and to producing obscene images of the sexual abuse of children.

His wife, 38-year-old Sharon Lee Anderson, was caught with him at the shelter in March. She pleaded guilty in April to permitting the production of child pornography. Her sentencing is pending. She faces up to 30 years in prison.

Investigators say explicit photos of children, including a 5-year-old girl, were found by people cleaning an Ennis apartment where the Andersons once lived.

Further details on the girl haven’t been released.
