AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) – All-American Marcus Smart scored 23 points to lead defending Class 5A state champion Flower Mound Marcus back to the UIL basketball state championship game for the third straight year.

The Marauders raced to as much as a 17 point 2nd quarter lead to defeat Garland Naaman Forest, 59-34 in Friday night’s state semifinals in Austin.

Marcus is one of four Dallas-Fort Worth area schools that will play for state championships on Saturday.
