SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – A Texas woman has been charged with murder in a South Dakota homicide that occurred more than a year and a half ago.

Authorities in Sioux Falls say 34-year-old Letisha Morgan of Dallas has long been a suspect in the October 2010 killing of 52-year-old Howard Allen but they did not have enough evidence until recently to make an arrest. They say Morgan recently was charged in a Texas homicide and during discussions with Dallas police it became apparent she allegedly was connected to Allen’s killing.
