DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” opens this weekend, once again sending explorers into space and seeking out the unknown.

Several questions have been asked about this movie, such as “Is this a prequel to 1979’s ‘Alien,’” but most people just want to know if we’ll be as freaked out as we were when that thing jumped out of John Hurt’s chest.

Also out this weekend is “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted,” where our favorite lost zebra, lion, hippo and giraffe find their way from the wilds to a traveling circus.

Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith and David Schwimmer are all back in their original roles and this time getting help from Jessica Chastain and Martin Short.
