DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – “Magic Mike” stars Channing Tatum as a male-stripper who wants to make a new life for himself. It’s based on Channing Tatum’s actual experiences as a male-stripper before he started acting.

Oscar winner director Steven Soderbergh directs this one but does it live up to his earlier movies, like “Ocean’s 11” and “Erin Brokovich?”
