IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) – A woman working at a Denny’s restaurant in Irving was hospitalized Tuesday morning after allegedly being stabbed by her husband. According to the Irving Police Department, 54-year-old Thomas Parker of Irving walked into the Denny’s location and started having a conversation with his 61-year-old wife, who is an employee at the restaurant. Her identity has not been released. The victim was transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. She was last reported to be in serious, but stable condition.
The suspect attempted to flee from the scene, but was arrested by responding police officers nearby. Officials have not determined the motive.
