NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSDFW.COM) – Police confirm one person has been killed and another injured in a shooting at a Chinese restaurant in North Richland Hills.

Officer Ed Wright says an employee called police at about 2:30 p.m. to report gunshots fired inside the Hunan Wok restaurant, located at Rufe Snow Drive and NE Loop 820.

The two male victims were employees.  The second one, who police say was shot multiple times, has been transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition

Police say the suspect entered the restaurant and started shooting.

Investigators believe this was an isolated event and have released no detailed information about the suspect at this time.

Hours later, police identified a burning car near Lake Benbrook which could have a connection to the shooting.

The car’s occupant was airlifted to the hospital in an undetermined condition.
