FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – A group of 14 high school teams are getting ready to race from the Texas Motor Speedway to Los Angeles in the 20th annual Solar Car Challenge. The race begins on Tuesday, but CBS 11 News met up with two of the teams on Monday morning, before they embark on the cross-country journey. The race is expected to last about eight days, and covers 884 miles.
