COMMERCE (CBSDFW.COM) –  Police in Commerce are looking for a driver who hit and killed a woman with a car Saturday night.

The vehicle struck the woman on the 2000 block of Mangum Street around 10 p.m. said police.

The driver did not stop and render aid to the victim, according to witnesses.

The woman was transported to Hunt Regional Hospital of Commerce. Emergency room officials pronounced her dead upon arrival.

Commerce Police with the help of the Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
