FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) — One man was killed and another critically injured in a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 360 early Friday morning.
The crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. along the southbound lanes of 360 on the ramp heading to eastbound 183.READ MORE: North Texans Beat The Heat One More Day As Temps Hit 100; Cooler Weather On The Way
A four-door Chrysler was attempting to head eastbound on 183 when it lost control, hit an embankment and hit a Camry traveling closely behind.
Police say a passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of that vehicle was taken by CareFlite to Parkland Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken into custody on suspicion of DWI.

The ramp was reopened around 6:15 a.m.
