DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Dallas are investigating the death of a woman. Her body was found at about 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning underneath the Woodall Rodgers Freeway bridge, in the 500 block of Riverfront Boulevard.

Authorities did not say how the body was discovered, or how she may have died.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene along with officials from the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. The 47-year-old victim has not yet been identified.

Authorities could not confirm whether or not the woman was homeless, but she had a significant number of personal belongings with her when she was found.
