DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Former President George W. Bush signed copies of his new book “41: A Portrait of My Father” Thursday morning for a few lucky readers.  The book is a biography about his dad, former President George H. W. Bush.

More than 100 people braved frosty temperatures and stood in line outside a Dallas Barnes and Noble to get a close-up glimpse of Bush.

“This is our hometown President, and I think most of Dallas loves him, as does everybody else in this line,” said Patricia Kyser.

Bush signed 41 copies of the book for some of the people who waited in line.
