DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Dozens of protesters gathered in Dallas Sunday and called for the resignation of Dallas ISD’s Superintendent.
The concerned citizens held a rally at Faith Memorial Church demanding Mike Miles step down.
This comes after DISD trustee Bernadette Nutall was escorted out of a meeting at Dade Middle School by police.
The group says miles had her thrown out. Dozens aired out grievances about the district including former employees.
“I’m hoping today that this helps rally a movement in Dallas to bring Dallas back to Dallas, to where everyone has a voice and everyone’s voice can be heard,” said a protester
Nutall has since filed a complaint with The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office alleging official oppression.
