THE COLONY (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in The Colony released a very dramatic 911 call Thursday, that was recorded while two men were being chased by another group of individuals.

According to police there was a physical altercation, a bat was used to damage a car, and brass knuckles were used to threaten. Then a chase begins and went through a neighborhood in The Colony.

“One of the persons from the other group pulled out a pair of brass knuckles. That’s when they sped off, ” says Cesar Rojas, the brother of Giovanni and Jesus Rojas, who are heard on the 911 call, screaming that they are being chased.

The altercation started at a home and then moved to the 7-eleven on state highway 121. Police say the Dodge Caliber was struck repeatedly with a baseball bat in the parking lot of the 7-11 convenience store.

Police say there was a long-standing dispute between two groups and the argument was over a girl and other issues.

“I definitely think the other group let their emotions get the best of them” says Rojas.

The chase ended at Blair Oaks Drive and Crutchberry Drive in The Colony when the pickup truck hit a curb, a tree and smashed into the side of a house.

“I was sound asleep. Heard a loud side for lack of a better description. I jumped up and looked out the window and saw the truck in my yard” says Kathy Gray, the homeowner.

The Rojas brothers were not insured. Four people in the truck were hospitalized, but only the driver remains in the hospital and police say he is in critical condition in a coma. His name has not been released.

In the 911 call the Rojas brothers start out by calmly explaining how they are being followed. But the call to dispatchers quickly escalates and police say their vehicle was rammed three times by the pickup truck during the call.

Here is part 911 call transcript:
