HIGHLAND VILLAGE(CBSDFW.COM) – The Highland Village Parks and Recreation department has temporarily closed the boat ramp at Pilot Knoll Park due to high water in the area.

The road to the boat ramp is underwater Wednesday and the lake levels are anticipated to rise.  As soon as the lake waters recede, the boat ramps will re-open.

In addition the May 15 Movie in the Park event has been cancelled. The final movie in the series, Dolphin Tale 2, will be shown on May 29 at Unity Park.

The city is monitoring and will announce if any further amenities or facilities are closed at Pilot Knoll Park.
