This coming Monday, May 25, the national digital network Decades officially premieres on KTVT 11.2 at 6 a.m. local time!
The diginet’s schedule focuses on programming and historical news features and footage put together to create a theme for a specific day or event during a previous time. The schedules kicks off this Monday at 7 a.m. with its signature show “Through The Decades”, hosted by former CBS News correspondent Bill Kurtis (he is also a former local news anchor at CBS’s WBBM-TV in Chicago).
Each daily episode focuses on those significant events that took place on that particular day. This show will air four times daily at 6 a.m., 12 p.m., 6 p.m., and 12 a.m. CT.
In addition, some great movies not seen in a while will be shown, such as “Hair” with Treat Williams and “Rio Lobo” with John Wayne. Then get ready to see some of TV’s best ever classic shows such as “Hogan’s Heroes,” “I Love Lucy,” “The Beverly Hillbillies,” “Family Affair,” “The Lucy Show,” “Bonanza,” and many more.
Archival footage from the CBS News library and from the long running Entertainment Tonight. Plus daily interstitial elements to pique your interest. For example, if it was April 15, what would your taxes be today in 1983?
Our schedule for Decades is always available HERE, 24 hours/7 days a week. Here you can find our programming schedules for our KTVT, KTXA, Decades, and MeTV.
