DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Investigators with the Denton Police Department are asking for help identifying the man who they believe is responsible for at least two convenience store robberies.

Police say, in both robberies the suspect was described as being a white male, standing between 5’2” and 5’3”, with a stocky build and a red/brown toned mustache.

When the suspect robbed the stores he always entered near closing time. The man would walk up to the counter and demand money from the cashier, while displaying a handgun. Both cashiers complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect always left the stores on foot.

Police are now turning to the public, asking that anyone with information about the robberies or the suspect contact authorities at 940-349-7912.
