WAXAHACHIE (CBSDFW.COM) – Two children were children were pulled from Lake Waxahachie this afternoon.

The 911 call came in around 2:30 p.m. First responders found a 5-year-old girl walking around outside of the lake. She was not hurt.

A 3-year-old girl was recovered from the water and given CPR until she could breathe again. Both toddlers were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital.

Both children are expected to recover fully. It is unclear what happened, but police think it is likely an accident.
