DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – It has been dubbed one of the hottest acts in the nation, and North Texans are now able to score tickets to see Garth Brooks in concert. The country music legend will perform a series of shows at the American Airlines Center in September.

Tickets went on sale Friday morning, but you cannot purchase them at the AAC’s box office. Fans have to go online and get their seats through Ticketmaster. There were originally just two shows on the schedule, but several more have been added, bringing the total to seven performances across five nights.

— Thursday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m.
— Friday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m.
— Friday, September 18, at 10:30 p.m.
— Saturday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m.
— Saturday, September 19 at 10:30 p.m.
— Sunday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m.
— Tuesday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $75, which includes all taxes and fees.

Brooks posted a short message for his North Texas fans on Twitter.

This is the first time that Brooks is coming to the DFW area in 17 years, and the AAC is expecting huge crowds. The last time that Brooks was in town, the AAC was not even built yet.

Brooks released his latest album, “Man Against Machine,” in November. It was his first album release in 13 years.
