DALLAS (CBSDFW) – The ice cream may be churning at Blue Bell, but it’s not quite ready to hit store shelves and cool off the heated masses left sweltering in the Texas heat.READ MORE: Possible Human Remains Found Near Paul Quinn College In Dallas
The South Texas creamery says it is producing ice cream at its Alabama plant. A company spokesperson tells 1080 KRLD what they are producing is being added to their inventory. But right now, they do not have a date on when their products will return to stores.

The company has reviewed all aspects of operations at it’s facilities in Brenham, Texas; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Sylacauga, Alabama.
